Celebrate the finale of our Symphony season at the Pops Concert and Street Party!
Our June 8 Pops Concert is more than a tribute to legendary composer John Williams; it’s a Saturday evening extravaganza to mark the conclusion of another successful Symphony season and a chance to connect with our community. This has been an amazing year of musical performances, and we'll be celebrating with you and your family!
All are welcome to the 5 PM street party before the concert—no concert tickets required. We’ll enjoy tasty bites from food truck favorites such as Pizza Bones, Taquizas Gabriel, S&B Sandwiches and Burgers, and more. Live music by local band Bagunça will have you on your feet and dancing with their irresistibly vibrant Brazilian beats!
Want to make the party even more fun? Wear a costume from a movie featuring the music of John Williams, and you’ll be entered into our costume contest! We’ll award prizes for the best adult and child costumes after concert intermission.
John Williams’ unforgettable movie scores have inspired countless young viewers with a lifelong love of orchestral music. At this concert, kids of all ages can experience the many ways that classical music inspires us, laying the groundwork for future appreciation of symphonic works. Plus, the street party will highlight the enjoyment we have when we come together with other music lovers to support the arts in our community.
Bring the whole family to enjoy music from your favorite movies!
