THE LATEST TICKET INFO AND GUIDELINES

We are providing this information to help you with your ticket purchases.

For existing season subscribers: This is a reminder that you must return your Subscription Renewal Forms by August 30, 2021. This will allow you to enjoy the same seats that you reserved for the 2019-2020 Season. After that date, any unreserved seats will be open for other patrons.

We are aware that a few people received forms that showed different seats than what they reserved for the 2019-2020 season. We are terribly sorry for the confusion that this may have caused. However, the Symphony records do have the correct seats in the system. The best way to secure your same seats is to return the form with your payment information no later than August 30, 2021.  Please note any questions or change of seat requests on the form.

For subscribers wishing to change their seats: We cannot begin to fill these requests until all the previous season ticket holders’ renewals are completed. This allows us to honor our guarantee of providing each subscriber the same seats as the last season. Of course, we will do our best to honor your requests for different seats.

For those wishing to become subscribers for the first time: You will be assigned your seats after existing subscribers have confirmed their seats but before single-ticket concert sales open to the public. Your requests will be filled in the order they are received.

For those purchasing single tickets: Single-ticket sales will begin at the end of September. Even after our subscribers receive their reserved seats, many good seats still will be available for you.

For all ticket holders: Due to the delay in the subscription process caused by the pandemic, subscribers will not receive their tickets until the first week in October.  We appreciate your patience.

UPDATED SEPTEMBER 24, 2021:

Please note that the information below is subject to change. Please check this page for the latest updates prior to attending a Santa Cruz Symphony concert. The health and safety of all attending a concert is our top priority. We sincerely appreciate your understanding of the policies below, which will be in-place for the foreseeable future.

THIS IS IMPORTANT! In accordance with California State (CDPH) and Santa Cruz County Health requirements, ALL patrons entering the Santa Cruz Civic must present proof of vaccination or a negative test PCR test within 72 hours with matching photo ID and be fully masked. YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO ENTER WITHOUT THESE ITEMS. To ensure that everyone will be as safe as possible while enjoying the Symphony performances, we will be applying the same rules to patrons attending concerts at both the Civic Auditorium and the Mello Center. These rules will also apply at the Samper Hall for recitals.

The Symphony will require that all patrons must wear a mask inside the venues regardless of their vaccination status. Our volunteers and staff will also be required to be vaccinated and wearing masks, and those musicians who can wear a mask will be wearing one. Our first concert will not have an intermission. At future concerts, no food or drink will be served during intermission.

The Symphony will NOT refund any tickets to anyone who cannot attend because they were denied entrance for not complying with these requirements.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. By attending a Santa Cruz Symphony event you expressly agree to comply with any and all policies and safety guidelines put in place by the event organizers, and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, waiving all claims and potential claims against the event organizers, and their affiliated companies relating to such risks. These measures are subject to change at any time to comply with federal, state and local health rules and guidelines.

We are enthusiastic about the upcoming season and appreciate everyone’s understanding during the pandemic. Your Symphony is always committed to providing performances of the highest quality and with your safety as our number one priority. We look forward to seeing you all at the concerts—even if it may be difficult to recognize each other while wearing our masks!
